The CAT holds the following types of information about users of the system:
Users within the CAT system can take on one or more roles. The role defines the tasks which the user is allowed to perform.

|---|---|
| cv entry | enter details about new applications into the system |
| cv assessor | perform an initial assessment on received applications |
| interview admin | arrange all aspects of interviews, offers, rejections etc. |
| interviewer | perform interviews -- the type of jobs for which this person can interview is configurable |
| CAT admin | maintain the CAT database -- this role is the most powerful of all the CAT roles and has access to all the data within the CAT |
The CAT is built using the Carapace Hub -- see the documentation on roles for more information.
At installation, an initial user is created which has
the CAT admin privilege. The user name and initial password
are given below:
