References & Referees

Summary

The actions taken at this stage are:

  1. Enter details of referees for the applicant.
  2. Record that references have been requested from referees.
  3. Store the received references within CAT.

Emails can be sent requesting references or thanking referees for references received.

Detail

To simplify the tracking of references and referees, the following lists are displayed for applicants who have accepted a job offer:

  1. those applicants who have no recorded referees
  2. those applicants where the referees have not yet been asked for a reference
  3. those referees who are yet to supply a reference
Upon receipt, the references are stored within the CAT database.

If the referee has a record email address, the CAT system offers to send the following emails to the referee to request a reference and to acknowledge the receipt of one. The mails sent out can be customised -- the relevant templates involved are as follows:
