It is sometimes necessary to block mail addresses or domains so that CVs cannot be received from these places. This is required if an over-enthusiastic recruitment agency keeps sending you CVs before terms have been fully agreed with them.
The CAT allows you to put a block on a mail address or on an entire mail domain. With a block in place, any mails received from the blocked address/domain receive an automatic message built using the block template.
The following information is stored about blocked addresses/domains.
| domain | the email address or domain to be blocked |
|---|---|
| reason | reason for the blockage |
| blocked by | name of person who set up the block |
| date blocked | date the block was set up |
